Kelvin Gastelum gets to fight Tim Kennedy at UFC 206

November 26th, 2016 by Mike Coughlin

UFC 206 has another new fight and Tim Kennedy has a new opponent: Kelvin Gastelum!!! This is hilarious. Gastelum was just suspended by NY for missing weight. They’ll have to undo that suspension in order for this to happen.

While I thought the suspension was stupid, and that Gastelum shouldn’t get a high level fight so quickly after unprofessionally missing weight, if NYSAC has any balls they hold firm on their suspension.

So, Cerrone vs Gastelum and Kennedy vs Evans has become Cerrone vs Brown and Gastelum vs Kennedy. Fighting is weird.
