In the midst of Roseanne Barr’s controversial tweet, firing, and drug use, fellow shamed comedian Bill Cosby has come out in support of Roseanne’s Ambien defense.
“I don’t agree with what she said but Ambien, or any sleep inducing drug does cause a lot of people to do things they wouldn’t normally do, just look at me.”- Cosby
“So you’re saying you were on Ambien, or a similar substance when you raped dozens upon dozens upon dozens of women?”- Me
“Not me, but the women I was with were on similar drugs and if it wasn’t for them being all passed out, unconscious, and delicious, I would have never raped them, what kind is person do you think I am?” – BC
“A rapist.” – Me
“Only because they were on drugs, I’d never rape a conscious woman.”- BC
These shocking statements may lighten Dr. Cosby’s sentencing and do shed light on just what happened, repeatedly, for 50 plus years.
