Liverpool, England
It’s well known around these parts that I am a gigantic fan of the Liverpool football club; the multiple time European cup champions, the multiple dozens of times English Premier League champions. OK, not Premier League champions because they never technically won that title but they won the top-flight title in England more times than you can count. (Though that’s more of an indictment on the state of our education system, I won’t lie.)
That perhaps makes me a little more finely tuned to all things Liverpool. Although I have a feeling deep down most of the people that live in that city would not like me if they knew me, due to my extreme right-wing politics. Such is life: I’m a wine drinking, soccer loving, neo-Nazi, at least that’s what my mother calls me. Nonetheless, I’ve been looking forward to seeing with the UFC will give the city for a main event.
That’s a lot of words before I get to telling you that the main event will be Darren Till vs. Someone, with one rumor being Jorge Masvidal. That’s not a bad little main-event, all things considered. Although you would think for the first time in a gigantic city like Liverpool you would want something with a little more sex appeal, as opposed to monkey boy fights washed up Miami resident (that was supposed to be “local boy” but Siri messed it up and I laughed). OK maybe that’s a little unfair to Jorge but it’s not totally inaccurate when your purpose is making a snarky joke.
So, let’s pretend that’s the main-event. Helwani is acting like it is and if it’s good enough for a man like him then it’s almost good enough for a man like me.
Asked @darrentill2 his thoughts on fighting @GamebredFighter. His response: “I’d love to have a tear up with Masvidal. He’s from the old school and is game as fuck. I believe me and him would make a war.“

That’s what Darren Till told Ariel Helwani, I guess. That’s what he claims he was told. I don’t really know why he would lie about such a thing. Who is going to add to lie about a direct quote like? Then again, it also seems odd to even bring up the possibility of someone lying about a quote like that so perhaps I should just shut up and go watch Netflix.
