How A Gay Asian Bear Video Changed My Life, and Yours is Next

A few years ago while on a YouTube rabbit hole that we all know so well I came across this video.

It’s simply called “Asian Bears Love” and is essentially a slide show of primarily larger homosexual Asian men in love with one another. It’s also perfectly set to a remix of the song “we found love in a hopeless place”. I’m not even sure that’s the title of the song but it is in my world.

Some of you racists/homophobes are saying “ew”, some of you open minded types are saying “hot” and the ones who think like me aren’t sexually aroused thinking about it, but you are smiling.

Every time I see this video I smile and laugh. Some of you sensitives will saying laughing at it is homophobic, or some kind of hate emotion, but to that I say blow me, please.

If you’re a chubby, gay, Asian fella living in a society that frowns upon homosexuality and celebrates toxic masculinity, you must go through life thinking love will never find you. This video provides hope. It shows chubby Asian men not just finding one another to satisfy a forbidden sexual urge, but discovering a genuine happiness with one another. Whether it’s gleeful strokes on the nose, the loving embrace of one another while wearing nothing but your jockey shorts, or celebrating your love in public by appropriately wearing matching knit panda hats, it all makes me feel like anything is possible.

I’ve yet to watch this video in my darkest of times without smiling. From heart break to health issues to financial problems to potential homelessness, this video has yet to let me down.

While democrats and republicans stomp their feet and keep telling mommy on each other, and white people call the police on black people for sneezing please take a break, pop on this video and smile, laugh, or rub one out. You’ll thank me.
