We all have one heart but collectively we have all the heart thus creating a home for all
Ideologically this does feed the hungry or warm the cold but in practice nobody would be without a home or house
And when I say they I mean we because I too am without a house of my own
But with the love so many have shared I’m with shelter and home
Judge not lest yee shall be judged while the mistakes you have made may not “equal” the mistake WE have made they are still mistakes and at some point you were humble enough to ask for forgiveness
Step over another human, classify them as a bum, tell them to get a job, on your way to your job you can’t wait to end
Raise your children to make the right decisions but deny a human without house the dollar that they now have a decision to make with
Food, booze or drugs is the decision this human would now have but you judge and hold on to that dollar to be one step closer to the next gen iphone
You give your children all the tools and life lessons and it is up to them how they apply them, yet you denied another child of God the same decision to make
You are not their parent but you are their brother or sister and your distain not only cost them a potential meal but actually made you feel better when you slammed your gavel upon them in the court of your own ego
Take a night to trade places and implore empathy in your mind and think about what happens if your boss decides this next paycheck is your last before you box them into a system of cast
But you don’t agree with a cast system when you see it executed in another country because you’re an American with freedom
But little did you know unless he was holding a sign wearing his military jacket and cap that the same man you denied a small step in life is one who fought for your right to make that choice to keep your dollar and scour the value menu for a McDouble til you realize your .49 cents short, could be karma could be irony but you drive away in a bad mood to a house full of food…gluttony
Put your heart where it belongs, it’s not a demand it’s a request, give them the fish, teach them to fish, or simply find a way to reach out and grant a wish
If they refuse they’ve made their choice, if you make the effort simply rejoice that you did right by the hand that God gave you, and in perpetual practice of the same actions there’s no doubt that God will save you, because we will all face that day
On your deathbed waiting for redemption, was it worth a dollar when you pray to God to open his gates to you and take you, home…less! not you be judged
