With a lot of misinformation going around the internet regarding the charges against Jussie Smollett being dropped, I’d like to set the record straight.
While the actual charges were all dropped and he will not stand trial or serve any time in real prison, Smollett’s attorney’s told the press that the Empire star and Gay Tupac will have to endure 6 months in imaginary federal prison, as well as pay a pretend fine, and complete 127 hours of hypothetical community service.
The new imaginary program is part of the ongoing prison reform in our country. Fake inmates wear a VR headset while at home and it provides imagines of prison life including brutal shankings, cavity searches, and shower rape. Smollett is said to have a positive attitude headed into his virtual incarceration.
