The Fight Capital of the World
In the tradition of Rocky and The Karate Kid, the Mayweather vs McGregor fight has its own training montage/music video. Las Vegas based, and somewhat popular aughts, band, The Killers, has provided us all with two minutes of singing and instrument playing.
The video, and it’s very intricate lyrics, seek to answer one question: who’s the man?
One presumes this is a reference to the fight, a safe assumption given the clips of Conor and Floyd doing things, and the fact that Showtime is the one publishing this thing. I guess it would be better if this was just a random song they did, so over the top and wishing to be Queen but failing like Lady Di in Paris. It’s not. It’s for the fight.
