In what some in the fight world are calling a shocking move, WWE announced today that they have contracted MMA free agent Nate Diaz to wrestle at this year’s Wrestlemania 32 event in Dallas TX. When Diaz was asked about what some are calling a surprising move he said, “I’m not surprised, mother fuckers. I’m the new king of entertaining all the haters!”
It is uncertain at this point who Diaz will be battling at this year’s celebrity mixed extravaganza. Already announced from Hollywood is former hulking superman turned silver screen stud, the Rock will be a part of the event. The Rock was said to be open to a fight with Diaz when Vince McMahon himself, bust into the room with his brash strut proclaiming, “NO CHANCE, that’s what you’ve got!” Well, we all saw what happened to the last guy to say that to Nate Diaz. (*cough* Conor McGregor *cough*)
Although this news is just breaking, plans are being shifted for WrestleMania which is not only expected to break buy rate records but also attendance records. WWE seems to have hit a home run. We here at this news site believe that Vinny Mac and the boys have an opportunity to do something special with Diaz. However, Vince’s history booking wrestlers with skin other than white is less than flattering. Let’s just hope Vince doesn’t make Diaz the leader of the Mexi-Cools 2.0.
We caught up with Nate Diaz to ask him directly who he wanted to face at WrestleMania. A man of few words Diaz said, “I don’t fucking care. HHH, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Cena… What the fuck is a Cena? Fuck weight classes! I want the best and toughest. Give me the ROCK! He thinks he’s gonna lay the smack down on me? He ain’t never felt the Stockton Slap!” We asked him about John Cena to which Diaz replied, “Fuck that wigger. This is America. Get it right, motherfucker.”
