Pride goeth before the fall, so sayeth the scriptures. That makes sense, as being full of yourself means you’re less likely to engage in the honest self-assessment needed to avoid the pits of life you’ll fall into.
June is the month where you’re supposed to be proud of being gay. I don’t know how this will lead to a fall. “If you hadn’t been so proud of being gay, you’d have noticed you were falling behind at work.” Then again, I’m not proud of anything except having a great head of hair.
