UFC 215 is headlined by Amanda Nunes vs Valentina Shevchenko. It was not always headlined as such but illness is afoot.
Ray Borg is too sick to fight and his title fight with Mighty Mouse has been scrapped. According to Borg’s people (yes, you live in a world where Ray Borg has people), his sickness has nothing to do with his weight cut. Of course it doesn’t, even though Borg has missed weight numerous times before. Fighters are always getting sick when at their physical peak. Circle of life.
As a result of these shenanigans, the previously cancelled UFC 213 main-event is now on top of the card. Feel that excitement. Borg had been looking forward to this fight for at least a few months. He also thinks we are all turds.

This is the third straight UFC PPV where the scheduled main-event will ether not take place or have a post-fight fuck up which technically invalidates the result.

Due to a viral illness to UFC flyweight contender Ray Borg, the main event bout against champion Demetrious Johnson at UFC 215 has been cancelled. Borg was deemed unfit to compete by the UFC medical team.
UFC 215, which is now headlined by the women’s bantamweight championship between Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko, will proceed as scheduled with 11 bouts at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada. Moving to the Pay-Per-View main card will be the flyweight bout between Henry Cejudo and Wilson Reis. Additionally, the Mitch Clarke and Alex White lightweight contest will now kick off the FS1 prelims.
With the removal of Johnson vs. Borg, customers may request a full refund of purchased tickets at point of sale.
