I understand why some people do not like Superman in this day and age. He can be a bit of a bore and a bit of a Boy Scout. A holdover from a simpler time. But I think there is more, he is at his core what we should all strive to be. A hero that believes we can save everyone. Who will never ever stop trying. He always believes in the best of people and that is why a man with the power of god is as humble and human as the rest of us.
Usually on Saturdays we present a video clip but this time a single page from a single comic. Superman tries to save his father. He would not but he never stop trying. That is a lesson for us all.
