Chicago is at its best right now. It’s warm as hell but we’re still close enough to the tail end of a long winter that we appreciate it. Everyone is out and about and running around, shorts, dresses, jogging, a little more life in your step, a little less misery, Cubs jerseys everywhere from the young and drunk riding the train in for a day game, a new thing to complain about with the sweat and stickiness, swimming, and street musicians returning to bang away on jugs as a metronome for it all.
