Tim Kennedy, who was in the Army, is being hunted by ISIS. This isn’t breaking news but it’s still news. The FBI informed Kennedy, who was in the army, that there were credible threats being made against him by ISIS.
“Just spoke to the FBI regarding some recent credible threats towards me by #ISIS,” Kennedy wrote Wednesday evening on his official Facebook page. “They were not overly thrilled with my response … ‘Let those cowards come.’”
He’s such a manly man, having been in the Army and all that. Army Veteran Kennedy later tweeted:
The pathetic/sad part is that they would never go after me. They prefer unarmed women, children, and journalists.
That’s right: a worldwide terrorist network that has been responsible for who knows how many deaths, who planned and executed the mass murder of hundreds in Paris, is afraid of Tim Kennedy. Probably because he was once in the Army.
Tim Kennedy Hunted by ISIS, or is it ISIL?
The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), alternatively translated the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria or Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), fears Army Man Kennedy. I actually just wrote that last sentence because I didn’t know why it was sometimes ISIS and sometimes ISIL. Luckily, Wikipedia was there to help. The fuck is a Levant?
The Levant (/ləˈvænt/; Arabic: المشرق /ʔal-maʃriq/ is an approximate historical geographical term referring to a large area in the eastern Mediterranean.
Oh. More from Wikipedia on former Army Hero Tim Kennedy’s enemy:
As a caliphate, it claims religious, political and military authority over all Muslims worldwide.
I did not know that. The UN says they are not a recognized state, which I’m sure makes them sad. I wonder if I can claim political power that way – just say, “I CLAIM IT. IT’S MINE!” If I did, Tim ARMY Kennedy would probably hate me.
Oh, and all of this is because he tweets mean things at them. Remember the other day, when I wrote about how BJ Penn vs Nik Lentz possibly happening because of a Twitter war was stupid? This is worse.
“They [the FBI] said, ‘Are you aware of this stuff?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ They said, ‘We think this is somewhat credible,’” Kennedy said. “Then I said, ‘I’m kind of desensitized to this stuff, so maybe you should tell me what my level of alarm should be.’”
That’s right, Army Man Kennedy is so used to having his life threatened on Twitter that he just shrugs and moves on with life. Anyways, that’s all.
…
Army.
