Where, oh, where to begin. The UFC, as part of their week-long hype for UFC 189, has posted a bunch more UFC 189 video clip thingies. They are here, because I basically like watching all of this and it’s easier for me to go to my own website than it is to go to UFC 189’s YouTube channel (even though I had to go there the first time).
They are a bit random, to be frank. This one appears to be Conor McGregor watching Chad Mendes and Jose Aldo fight. I mean, that’s what it is: us watching Conor watch someone. And if you’re in Las Vegas and he saw you, it would be Conor watching you watching Conor watching Mendes.
This UFC 189 video? It’s HIS TIME IS NOW, focusing on Rory MacDonald. It has done NOTHING to convince me this man did not stab animals as a child.
Oh, and here’s Robbie Lawler, who is LOCKED AND LOADED. He’s shirtless for a lot of this. A half-naked man is LOCKED AND LOADED in this UFC 189 video – so, yeah, it’s gay porn. Oh, and he says at one point he cooked his wife and kids breakfast and that winning THE CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE FREAKING WORLD was “awesome.” At least he just seems boring and not like he made his 5th grade teacher uncomfortable with his stare.
This UFC 189 video is Chad Mendes talking about how he’s ready to fight. They called it “Stepping Up.” Joe Rogan tries not to gush too much about wrestlers in this one. He fails. It’s the shortest video so Mendes is being trolled by someone. (Seriously, it’s actually shorter than the one where McGregor walks through his house.)
Then we have this UFC 189 video, wherein Conor shows off his “Mac Mansion.” So it’s a low-rent version of MTV’s Cribs, which in and of itself was a show dedicated to indulgence and was low-rent. I wonder if anyone told him that “McMansion” is a term of derision in America? At least I’m 90% sure he’s just renting this. If not: enjoy the story in five years about McGregor being back on public aid.
