@MichaelCoughlin
We do this every. single. show. Because we’re awesome and other websites are not and they suck and we don’t and we never use redundant language except when we do. Anyways. We have written previews. We have audio previews. But this is an age of wonder, and age of visuals. And still photos just don’t do it. No, we boldly go where we’ve gone before with our UFC 192 VIDEO Preview. Yes, a preview of UFC 192 but using videos of actual fights. The men on the card, who are hitting each other, fighting other people, getting you hard as hell for Saturday when you and your bros can bro out and not make eye contact.
First, let us begin with the “champion” Daniel Cormier. The man who lost to Jon Jones, both on a stage and in a cage. And then betting favorite to win on Saturday. Shall we see how he won the belt in beating the shit out of Anthony Johnson? WE SHALL! With the added bonus of watching LardAss Johnson lose!
And what did Cormier do before he lost to Jones but beat Johnson? Faced living legend and freak of nature (not really but go with it) Dan Henderson. And rag dolled the old man:
Of course, it won’t be EASY for Cormier as his only loss has been to Jon Jones (who you’ve heard about in the news lately). Alexander Gustafsson? Like a mirror of Jones. Tall. Skilled. Good at everything. Strikes well. Moves like a featherweight (that one was a lie). Seeing him in action and you can see why a midget like Cormier might have problems…
(Yes, we know Manuwa ain’t all that great but it was still a nice KO.)
(Again, Hamman isn’t super good but Gustafsson made it look easy.)
Now then, the SEMI-MAIN event of the show is Johny Hendricks, because the UFC is contractually obligated to not feature people who can spell their first name correctly taking on Tyron Woodley. They met before … in an amateur wrestling match. Josh Koscheck was also a wrestler, just as good as Hendricks, and with a heavy right hand. In other words: similar as shit to Johny boy. And Woodley ended his life.
(SHHHHHHHH! Don’t let the fact that Koscheck was past his prime fool you…)
Jay Hieron was also a good wrestler who could fight and then he got Wood’d.
Martin Kampmann doesn’t fight anymore. Because of shit like this. And because he coaches Team Alpha Male in an attempt to make Duane Ludwig jealous.
Ugh. Ouch.
Sergio Pettis started out being known as the younger brother of former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis but now … ok, he’s still know that way but damn the kid is good. He could be a serious challenger for Mighty Mouse in a year or two as he physically, mentally, and technically progresses. This is him being a badass killer. That’s right: HE MURDERED SOMEONE ON TV!
Joseph Benavidez, who hates me for some reason, also fights. This is him fighting and winning on peoples. (Err, a person.)
Jessica Eye calls herself EVIL EYE because that kind of fits as a nickname. She’s one of the women more likely than others to face Honda Housey in the future. Oh, and she fights on Saturday (which is why I’m talking about her). See her fight. See her be violent. Some guys like it rough…
See everyone again, same time (not the same time), same place (same website but not the same link because that would be weird). And OF COURSE we’ll have the best play by play of all time on Saturday because … you know why.
