UFC 193, which was once known as UFC 195 until someone let Floyd Mayweather Jr. do the counting , is the next mega mega event the UFC will produce. No slap in the face to the rest of them but Ronda Rousey is sort of a big deal. She takes on Holly Holm of course, the multiple time world champion boxer in what will probably be a 90 second match. But, with Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs. Valerie Letourneau for UFC Strawweight Championship as the semi-main ever, as we’ve noted elsewhere, this has all the makings of an oddly historic first: the UFC leading the charge for feminism world-wide. Who knew.
