UFC 205 will make history. That’s not actually true. It has already made history, just by being booked at MSG. The only way history doesn’t happen is if someone blows up the Garden.
Now then, it’s possible for MOAR history to be made but really only if McGregor defeats Alvarez and becomes the first ever concurrent two-division champion. I mean, sure, yes, every victory is history and all that but you know what they mean and what I mean.
Instead of calling it “Countdown to UFC 205” or something like that, the New Overlords have dubbed the UFC 205 preview show “UFC 205: Fighting for History.” I hope it confused people into thinking the History Channel now shows UFC in between Hitler documentaries.
