Episode 13 of the FPP features some Survivor Series 2015 fallout discussion. Just how bad was the Sheamus cash in? How long are we all taking breaks when it comes to WWE programing? What made Starrcade 1984 so boring? Somehow we manage to talk all about it in our first segment. Following that it’s the third (and perhaps final?) edition of Video Game Mania here on the Fire Pro Podcast! We talk about the last two generations of wrestling video games, dating back to the Gamecube/PS2/Xbox era to the 360/Wii/PS3 era. We first talk about the Def Jam and Ultimate Muscle games that were developed by Aki. What made them different than, say, No Mercy? We move on to the WWE Gamecube games, why X8 sucked, the weird Revenge mode in XIX and Day of Reckoning’s storylines that involved you hooking up with Stacy Keibler BUT being accused of stealing the World Heavyweight title so it’s a mixed bag. We move on to the Xbox games, including the weird original Raw game, the uninteresting sequel, and Wrestlemania 21, which featured an incredible sweat engine. We also talk about Rumble Roses, a looong Legends of Wrestling discussion and the doom of Acclaim, Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, which may be one of the best wrestling games of all time, and cap it off with Fire Pro Wrestling for Xbox 360 and TNA Impact, two games which I’m pretty sure are not the greatest wrestling games of all time. Tons of stuff we talked about this week only on the Fire Pro Podcast!
