Maybe it’s because Solo and Episode VIII were disappointing manifestations of long-held dreams (Han’s origin story; learning the fate of Luke Skywalker) or maybe it’s because anything nerd related happening right now is sandwiched between Captain Marvel and Avengers: End Game, but the first ever Star Wars IX: The Rise of Skywalker is here and no one appears to be losing their mind.
The internet hasn’t recently matured as far as I know, so I can only assume … maybe Star Wars isn’t cool anymore?
